    As I mentioned to you on Twitter we did the roof tour of this cathedral and walked above that vaulted ceiling. It felt like an underground cave. The beams holding everything up are oak, from trees that were saplings when William the Conqueror arrived in 1066.

    I'm not very good at this 'Wordless' concept am I?

  3. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but give me words like yours along with the picture every time.

    1066? Wow! As you know, my favorite kind of time is geologic time, but historic time is a close second.
